  • I would like to heartily congratulate you and KSNRE for continuing to organize the AFORE Conference successfully every year since 2011.

I have been involved in AFORE since 2011 and it is good to see that the Forum is trying to address one of the biggest issues of this time which is transition to Renewable Energy.

I do hope that this year also, we will receive innovative papers from participants that will help advance the existing knowledge of different sources of Renewable Energy and ways of harvesting it. I also note that the Theme for this year is ‘Integration of Renewable Energy for Carbon Neutrality’ which is very appropriate considering the issues the whole world is facing due to high emissions.

The whole world needs good solutions for reducing GHG emissions and meeting our energy needs using renewable sources of energy. I offer my best wishes for a successful AFORE 2024.

  • Dear colleagues and friends,

Asia Pacific has become the world's most dynamic region in the global transformation to 100% renewable energy. Many countries in the region are leading the way, not only in terms of new solar and wind installations, but also in terms of manufacturing capacity and technological innovation.

With renewables now the cheapest and universally available source of energy, the energy landscape is set to change forever. New innovations will be required throughout the supply chain, particularly in the areas of storage, heating/cooling and transport.

Especially in these challenging times, international collaboration is more crucial than ever. In this sense, I wish you a fruitful exchange in order to foster innovation and technological advancements across these sectors.

    Best wishes
