A valid passport(at least 6 months validity) and a Korean visa are required to enter the Republic of Korea. For more accurate information and updated regulations, we recommend you contact a Korean Embassy in each country to ask about the necessary documents for visa issuance. It is also highly recommended to apply for a visa at least one month before you depart from the Republic of Korea as your visa process may take time. Nationals of those countries or regions with which Korea has signed a visa waiver agreement can enter without a visa for up to 30 or 90 days. Foreigners who will be arriving in Jeju Island on a direct flight or ship from overseas without stopping over at any other parts of Korea may enter without a visa. Also, the duration of stay is up to 30 days.

Starting September 1, 2022, travelers entering Jeju Island via international flights will be required to obtain a K-ETA. Travelers coming to Korea, including Jeju, from countries that require a K-ETA must apply through the K-ETA website (or mobile app) at least 72 hours before their flight. The K-ETA is valid for a period of 2 years from the date of approval.
